Paired through a shared interest in ritual, Giulia Damiani & Tyron Winter both use rite as means of accessing what is held within the body; memory, ancestry, history, desire and inherited knowledge. Both artists explore how embodied and material practices can bring things that are difficult to articulate into visibility, using performance, sound, movement and physical matter as ways of making transformation possible.
