Ah yes, Clowns.
Rob Bouwman & Dakota Havard

June 15 – September 2024

Exhibition & text by Singular-Art

Ah yes, Clowns. combines two artistic voices not likely to form a beguiling harmony. Rob is a studious artist, disciplined and methodical in his craft. Dakota is impulsive, anarchistic and even abrasive at times, but generally hilarious. This release was written to the tune of psychedelic Cumbia music, a fitting soundtrack to the premise.

Marine Lover

Artists Abraham Kritzman & Violeta Paez Armando

Curation & Text by Àngels Miralda

August 18 – October 15, 2022

The work of Kritzman and Paez Armando uses the allegorical path of a sea-froth labyrinth to present an imaginative narrative of archetypal symbols.

Sally’s Fault is closed to visitors until August 18th as we welcome summer resident Abraham Kritzman.

Kritzman is an artist living & working in Tel Aviv. While he lives & works in the house for the summer, Kritzman has already begun working with Amsterdam based artist Violeta Paez Armando. Their work & explorations will be shown in Sally’s Fault’s next exhibition, Marine Lover, opening August 18th.

Perfect Fit

Martha Hviid & Lucía Quevedo

May 12th–July 2nd, 2022

Both Martha Hviid and Lucia Quevedo have moved around extensively living in many cities throughout the world. Despite their very different experiences, they share a visible approach to artmaking through their interest in materials and humour. This exhibition brings the artists together to describe these feelings of uprootedness, migration, belonging, and adapting through collaborative and individual artworks.

Mist & Thunder

Xie Lei & Leyla Aydoslu

March 18th–April 23rd, 2022

Xie Lei & Leyla Aydoslu both investigate the limits of the human body through lightness & weight, grace & gravity in the first exhibition at Sally’s Fault.
For the end of Mist & Thunder we have our next edition of Saturday Bites! is an ongoing series of curatorial tours through the lens of texts influential, essential, and related to our artists.

Saturday, April 23rd, 2022 16:00–18:00

Our curator Àngels Miralda has prepared an extended curatorial tour of the exhibition for all to engage with & enjoy. She’s taken a classic piece of art writing as a foundational lens to view the exhibition.
